Basic and straightforward easy downloads, zoom is decent. Worth 99 cents easy if you hike or camp.

This app is missing a lot of useful park information and the user interface isnt very nice to use. Im disappointed that I paid for this applicatioin.
When I first got it the app worked as described. Now, the app will not open. It crashes immediately. Please fix!
Need to add more parks to the list
Beautiful app! Simple, easy to use & read. We have paid good money for some of these maps! Cant believe these are free. Only complaint is limited selection...
Were retracting an old review complaining that there were no maplets. There are lots of maplets, and theyre easy to download and use. We have a big box full of maps from our old trips, and sometimes we go through it when planning a new trip, but its much nicer having an app like this so we can get to and follow the trails we love.
I am very disappointed with this app because I hike Mt. Diablo State park and wanted some new trails to hike. This app shows mostly fire roads and a limited number of hiking trails. I wish I didnt pay for this app.
Great app, amazing selection of maplets. Not only state parks, but national parks and monuments (GGNRA, Yosemite, etc.) and even some areas in other states (such as East Carson River in Nevada). Only (slight) negative is that obviously the maplet quality depends on the parks brochures; some are great (e.g. Big Basin); others are just passable (Golden Gate Park in S.F.).
This map tool is my go-to helper when I am way outback with my horse. No need for cumbersome paper maps to fold, unfold and lug around. I use this app on my iPod and keep my iPod in my vest or coat pocket as I ride. Not only state parks, but local, city and county parks as well. Ive suggested a few maps and the developers were quick to add them and actively seek end-user input. I rate it overall as A+++.
Worth the price and more if you camp or hike.
This app does not help in any way. Its trail maps are very limited, and some parks dont even have maps. The app doesnt provide useful information such as parking availability, entrance fees, accessibility to handicaps and attractions. Actually its just a park locator, dont count on it for anything else. Waste of money, I wish I didnt buy it.
Not does it include more maps than I expected, but the support is excellent.
Lots of potential, but off to a good start.
Downloads quickly The maps are very useful The links to the parks are great I love it!
The ability to display my position on the trail map is fantastic! Its a great aggregator of brochures. But it wont even export them to Goodreader. 3 stars for being current on brochures. Id give more stars to be able to export as PDF. Also, some state parks sell a more detailed trail map for a few bucks. The ability to purchase those would also me nice. Finally it would be better to have national and county parks as well.
A must-have app for people interested in casual visits to Californias awesome state parks.
I got this app because Im going to pack up by silver lake so I wanted a good map. This map is horrible, barely any detail. The map of the trails looks like 4 lines on a piece of paper. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
This does not contain all the state parks. Its a fraction of the parks. Thats just lazy. Shame on the developers. Id request a refund if it were possible. Dont waste your money.
Fall Creek trail map is very low resolution. I can barely read the names of trails.
Low resolution maps provide no detail and barely visible trails. They dont even have maps for 90% of the trails I searched for. This app is a joke. Dont waste your money.
